Our Roof Restoration Process

Step 1 – Installation of Safety Gear & Equipment

Different jobs require different safety equipment and in some cases we need to install scaffolding for the safety of our team and safety harnesses are a must in all cases.

Step 2 – Clean the Roof

All dirt, mould, and moss build up must be removed before painting. We are government certified for external cleaning and pressure cleaning.

Step 3 – Carry Out Required Roof Repairs

Repairs are often required prior to painting the roof. In the case of metal roofs, this may include replacing sections of metal sheets and/or replacing the metal screws.

For tiled roofs, most likely the ridge capping would need to be repointed and any broken and cracked tiles replaced.

Step 4 – Primer & Sealer

Metal primer is applied to metal roofs and tiled roofs get a coat or primer / sealer and given time to soak in.

Step 5 – Membrane

We finally apply two thick coats of membrane in the colour of your choice.

Step 6 – Job Inspection

When all has been completed, we do a walk through with you to make sure you are happy with the completed work.

Step 7 – Full Site Cleanup

We clean up after ourselves and make sure your property is left as clean if not cleaner than before we got there.
